Tofu Festival – Little Toyko, Los Angeles, CA – August 18-19, 2007

This two-day event will span ten blocks of Chinatown with more than 280 booths. Los Angeles Korean Festival, CA – September 13-16, 2007
This festival celebrates the harvest moon and the Korean Thanksgiving and includes many traditional Korean foods plus events for children to learn about Korean culture. This event provides a forum for the community share in Korean culture and cuisine and gain a better understanding of their neighbors.

Asian American Expo – Pomona, CA – January 19-20, 2008
With the goal of expanding and broadening the Asian food markets in Southern California, this tradeshow is held annually in conjunction with the Lunar New Year Festival. In addition to 800 exhibitors, the Expo offers a multi-faceted program of live stage performances and traditional folk art demonstrations and shares a living heritage among people of all different backgrounds. Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Filipino, Thai, Indonesian, Burmese, Vietnamese, Malaysian, and Singaporean food and culture are showcased here.

Southwest Airlines Chinese New Year Parade – San Francisco, CA - February 23-24, 2008
Named one of the top ten Parades in the world by IFEA, the Southwest Airlines Chinese New Year Parade in San Francisco is one of the few remaining night illuminated Parades in the country. Started in the 1860's by the Chinese in San Francisco as a means to educate the community about their culture, the Parade and Festival have grown to be the largest celebration of Asian cuisine and culture outside of Asia.
Chinese New Year Parade & Festival – Alhambra, CA – February, 2008
The City of Alhambra and the City of San Gabriel have been important partners in facilitating this popular cultural event. The Festival will be held in the heart of one of the largest Chinese / American commercial districts in the southland, becoming almost more of an outreach than a premier cultural celebration. The one day festivities attract about 50,000 people and consist of more than 100 booths and many theme-oriented venues such as the Cultural Village. The food court will be presenting many Asian flavors. Admission is free.
